After just learning of this now- I can say wholeheartedly was my MoM away from my Mom growing up. I spent a lot of time with Trent and Yvonne and Ty, Toby and what I can say after all of these years is that Yvonne was nothing short of a beautiful woman who happened to be a True Gem. I will miss her dearly! but she leaves behind two beautiful sons in every way and their children.

Such a beautiful soul inside and out.She was my godmother and one of my fondest memories while visiting Pictou as a young girl was having a sleepover with Eyvonne upstairs in my aunt Marion’s house.My condolence to the Hawes and MacNeil family. Rest in peace!

So saddened to hear of Yvonne's passing. Yvonne was a good friend and I have many happy memories of the years when she would travel to, and from, work with me. Always a big smile, and the way she could turn any situation into a hilarious story was always a source of laughter each, and every, day. Never a dull moment with Yvonne. She was truly a lovely lady who always put family first and will be greatly missed by all. Janet and I wish to convey our deepest condolences to Ty, Toby, Trent, and families, and the MacNeill and Hawes families at this time of sorrow.

My beautiful grandmother when she was head cashier. I and my Nanny when I was only small. When we would drink "tea" (hot chocolate) out of plastic tea cups and nap together for hours on end, she could never fail to get a giggle out of me. Rest in Peace and I love you forever.
