Obituary of Wilfrid Anderson

ANDERSON, J. Wilfrid Braeshore ANDERSON, James Wilfrid – 84 it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear father Wilfrid on Monday May 22, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Wilfrid was the son of the late John Wilfrid Anderson and Kathleen “Katie” MacLean Anderson. Dad spent most of his years as a fisherman in Caribou, as his heart was always on the water. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and with fur babies Bear and Maggie. He looked forward to dance nights in Stellarton, good laughs with his dear friend Billy Hislop, and best friend Gordon McCutcheon. We will miss his kindness, his dry sense of humour, and a smile that warmed your heart. Besides his parents, Wilfrid was predeceased by his brother, Kenny. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Brenda Higgins (Gordon), Marilyn McKee (Rod), and Janet Anderson (Marcel); loving Grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Natisha, Riley, Dylan, Justin, Alyssa and Colby; great-grandchildren, JM, Brent, Maddison, Emma and Myles. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald; and mother of his children, Rose Belleville. Visitation will be held in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou on Sunday, May 28th from 12-2PM.
