Dear Brenda, Marilyn, and Janet
I am so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I know you are deeply saddened and will miss him greatly.
Brenda, your dad played a very important role in my life when you and I were inseparable. He was always so kind, calm, and patient with us. I still laugh when I reflected over the day we decided to “take a notion” and paint your kitchen with bright blue boat paint! He walked in, looked, smiled, and then proceeded into the living room. He was such a gentle soul and I admired him for that characteristic. You had a very special connection that was evident throughout the years.
I look forward to seeing you in August.
