Cousin Shirley was always interested in our family, wanted to know what was going on. My father, Don Robson, an engineer, helped with the planning and construction of their house, and we (Dad and I) always loved to go fix a few things, play 9 holes, and share time with "the girls". Fond memories of a wonderful person.

Dear Family Members of Shirley and Ina's family, It is a sad time today ,as I just heard of the passing of Ina and Shirley. I worked with them both in hospital in Sussex for many years. Also visited with them in Pictou several times over the years. They were very kind and supportive friends of myself and my family. I will always remember Aunt Shirley as the queen of scrabble! There was always a dictionary at the board game that we used to challenge some of her words. Not very often did we win these challenges. I remember the trips to Caribou Island, drinking tea in their kitchen talking about life and going for walks with the dog. Aunt Shirley was always up for a game of golf too! RIP Aunt Shirley

Sending sincere sympathy to the family. Many good times were shared over the years when Shirley was an active member in our Pictou and Area Garden Club. She was honored by being made a life time member. Her steadfast care and concern for family were two of her greatest commitments.

Sincerest condolences to Shirley's family. I played golf with her many times in Pictou and was even invited to her home on a few occasions for ladies golf "get togethers" at year end. Such a lovely lady and I feel blessed to have known her. Rest in peace Shirley.

Aunt Shirley had such an infectious laugh...it made me giggle every time I heard it. I'll always remember the fun we had visiting Pictou and when Ina and Shirley made their trips to Ontario. Rest in peace auntie Shirley. Love Daph

So many wonderful memories from family trips to Pictou. Visiting Aunt Shirley and her sister Ina was always the hi-light of our summer east coast travels. Our children also loved playing with their beloved Airedale Terrier dogs during visits. So kind and generous were Ina and Shirley. Loved them both. Rest in peace forever. God bless.
