I really miss you, Aunt Annabelle! You were only 12 when I was born, your big brother's baby, and you would take me for walks and proudly show me off to the peole in the streets....or so you told me. Haha!! Loved getting to know you again these past couple of years and visiting with you for fish and chips at Sharon's and drives out to Seaview to visit Nanny and the gang, all nearly gone (nobody is truly gone as long as someone who knew them still walks the Earth...they are only "nearly gone"). You won't be gone for a very long time with all the littles in the famiy. I loved your wise and calm acceptance of any story I would tell you; I swear your only flaw was that you were a Habs fan....my Leafs heart thought: what the...??? :) To my cousins Tim, Tory, and Patti...big close hugs and love. Marlene

Dear Patty Torey and Timmy,
I am so sorry for the sudden loss of your mother Annabel. I worked with Annabelle some 45 years ago at the old IGA. She was one of the most pleasant, fair, loving and unassuming people I have ever known. Though I saw her rarely she always greeted me as if we had had tea the day before. She will be missed. Annabelle was a big part of our childhood and continued to be family as we became adults. We always felt welcomed at her home and she always had a houseful from the Harris and Murray Road. She was a Heatherbell and Ringette mom who always had time to stop and speak. The last family gathering, She and Paul shared a few laughs by remembering a little car she used to drive them all around in. We have such fond memories of Annabelle that it warms our hearts when we think about her. She will be missed but not forgotten. Bless you all.

No matter how busy she was, she would ask how you were, and always had a smile. I loved it when she would wave to us, as we walked by, as if she was just waiting for us to drop in. She would be sweeping, or dusting but still had time to help you find every little thing you needed. She me feel like I was her best friend. I guess everybody felt that way. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss. Laurie
