My heart is hurting. I met Jim at UFO in hilden and became great friends. Every Sunday him n Marg would come over to see me n tell us stories n always a hug. Last year when I was sick Jim always called or texted me to see how I was. He was a very kind and funny man and I will miss him terribly. Rest in peace my friend

Jimmy "Beans" was a hockey man. I have many memories of playing with him in the old West Pictou Community Rink and on Sheriff's Pond. He was extremely sociable and liked by all. I had one last long conversation with him in 2019. Many stories and laughs at this event.The good news Jimmy , there is hockey in heaven and better news, you are playing tonight !! My heartfelt condolences on Jimmy's passing.. It was my pleasure to have known him & playing old timers hockey with him from the very first game we played as the " OLD PUCKERS ". Albeit we called him "GRAMPS" he was only a few years older than most of us. Always in a pleasant mood , he cared deeply for his town of Pictou. May he rest in Peace.
