Obituary of Lesley Jane Dunn

DUNN, Lesley J. New Glasgow February 27, 1949-February 17, 2022 DUNN, Lesley Jane -72, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 17, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Through her recent health turn she repeatedly engaged a new found “it could have been worse” approach. Mom’s life touched many. Through her passion, compassion and penchant for the dramatic she was well known and well loved. She will have been welcomed on the other side by her mom and dad, Theo and Reg Dunn. She is celebrated by her two brothers, Rex (Heather) Dunn and Peter Dunn; her children, Damion Fusco (Meghan), Tiana Fusco, and Jarett Dunn. She was supremely blessed with three granddaughters, alike in looks and occasionally temperament, Reggie, Renee and Emily Fusco. Some regular mom-isms to help you through this time (and any others): onwards and upwards, this too shall pass, and for the love of god, don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-3 PM in Pictou United Church. Masks and proof of vaccination are required. A private family service will be held.
