Heartfelt condolences to Helen’s family and loved ones. I enjoyed working with Helen at Addiction Services and will never forget when she arrived for one of our back shifts before Christmas closure with a bottle of her homemade green apple wine for me.( Well hidden and wrapped in a gift bag) So delicious, best homemade wine I’ve ever had!
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She definitely left her mark.

She was one of the most capable professionals and compassionate, caring human beings one would imagine to meet. Her patients were the fortunate recipients of her skill and kindness, and those of us who worked with Helen benefited from that knowledge, strength and wonderful sense of humour. Helen loved people and it showed at work every day! She was one of those people one would think would always be with us, and that is why it is so difficult to put into words acknowledgement of her passing. It is with great sadness that we send our heartfelt condolences to Johnnie, John Henry, Jason and their families on the passing of your beautiful wife , mother and grandmother. Her time as a nurse at the Aberdeen and later at drug dependency was invaluable to her patients and co workers. Helen was such a community person , church supporter and caring neighbour. She was so much fun and her laugh was infectious. So many wonderful memories of her to so many people.

Helen was an amazing woman; so organized, a natural leader with that sparkle in her eyes! She was great to talk to after church and did so much for this community. Impossible to replace.
