Obituary of Harold Raymond Knowles

KNOWLES, Harold R. ‘Toots’ New Glasgow Harold Raymond ‘Toots’ Knowles of New Glasgow, passed away on February 19, 2021 in the QEII Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Pictou on February 10, 1944, he was a son of the late Stephen ‘Stan’ and Jemma (Poirier) Knowles. Raymond worked at the Pictou Shipyard and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, watching Hockey, Curling and pitching in Baseball. He is survived by sons, Raymond, Anthony, Matthew (Cathy); stepson, Nick; granddaughter, Nancy; brothers, Stephen and John. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Henrikson. The family wishes to thanks the doctors, nurses and staff of the Aberdeen Hospital and Glen Haven Manor for their care of compassion. Cremation has taken place.
