So sorry to hear of Toots' passing. I grew up in the same neighbourhood as Toots and also worked with him some over the years. In his younger years, he excelled in athletics and was probably one of the best all-around ball players in town. He could hit, pitch, and run "like the wind". Always competitive, and always having fun! He was amazingly strong and agile, and entertained us all many times with his ability to "walk on his hands". All the old gang remember him most for this ability that he had and it is always a topic when his name comes up in conversation. It was always nice to run into him over the years and laugh about those old times. He still had that distinctive laugh. My condolences to all his family and friends at this time.
