GRATTO, Gordon Stanley “Gordie” – 75, Pictou, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Pictou, he was a son of the late Gordon and Verrona (Davis) Gratto. Gordie lived most of his life in the town of Pictou but spent the last three years at High-Crest Place, New Glasgow, where he was happy and well cared for. He worked at Ferguson’s Shipyard, fished lobsters with his brother, David, and did various handy man jobs around Pictou. Gordie is survived by his brother, David (Cathy) Davis, Three Brooks. He was predeceased by brother, Jimmy Gratto. Cremation has taken place and private family committal will be held at Haliburton Cemetery officiated by Reverend Mary-Beth Moriarity. Donations in Gordie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA Shelter, Granton. Arrangements are entrusted to McLaren Funeral Service, Pictou. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
