As former summer “residents” of the Hector Quay Marina, we got to know Gordie over the last 15 years. We always enjoyed our conversations with him. A shy man at first meeting, our quiet friendship grew over the years and we always looked for him on our walks through town and our visits to Sharon’s Restaurant. Gordie was a true “Pictou soul” and we are very sorry to hear of his passing.
