Dear Fern and family
It was with shock and great sadness that I learned from Alanna today of Ron's passing 10 days ago...I had not heard of it up until that time...and I cannot tell you the overwhelming feeling of such a terrible loss as the reality of it washed over my mind.
During the years I worked with Ron...I cannot tell you how many times his kindness and good humor saved the day and that he was never impatient or out of sorts ...no matter what the day had brought..
I could never have imagined working for a better boss and friend...
You are in my thoughts and my prayers and I thank you for sharing him with all of us who had the opportunity to work with and for him....

Fern and family, on behalf of Tim and myself I cant express how sad the news of Ronnie's passing was for both of us. The help you and Ronnie gave to Tim and I in River John this spring after my mother's passing was beyond generous. A lot of hard work done by the both of you -- with a big smile and sharing great memories. As much as that day was long and hard your help and companionship was extraordinary. We couldn't and still can't thank you enough and in this difficult time I wish I was there to help you in some way.

I heard with great surprise about the death of your beloved Father, Ron Zink, courtesy of Anne Landry. Please accept my prayerful support of you as you mourn the loss of one so special as Ron is among family, neighbours and all persons known to him.
We’ve a prayer bowl for intentions that sits before the altar in my parish church. There intentions remain throughout the year. Once a year the enclosed prayer slips are offered near Remembrance Day, burnt and buried in our parish’s garden. Be assured that Ron’s name is among my parish’s prayer bowl intentions.

Words can not express how shocked and saddened we were to learn of Ronnie'e very sudden passing.
Because Fern has been my best friend from an early age I am very aware of the great love and respect they had for each other. They enjoyed spending time together, had fun together and did everything together.
He was always so friendly and in good cheer any time you met him.
May God hold you all in his hand as you walk this very difficult journey without Ronnie

I am so sorry to hear about Ron's unexpected passing. I mostly remember Ron from the many days and nights spent watching movies and sleeping over with Dave as kids. Both his parents were always very generous and extremely kind. You always felt welcome and comfortable at the Zinck's house. Wish I could be there in person to express my condolences and my gratitude for those times.

Ferne, Paul, Mila, David, Claudia, Cedric, Noah and Gail I'm so sorry this happened to you. Ron was a very special man and will be missed by all who knew him. My last memory of him is his wonderful laughter as I teased him and Ferne about getting up so late on Saturday morning. Share all your memories of his laugh as it was a great one and will hopefully fill in some of the emptiness. The Scat table in RB will be missing one key player as will the Hand and Foot table.
