Obituary of Janet Ada Reid

REID, Janet Ada Millsville Janet Ada (Grant) Reid passed away peacefully September 1, 2024, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born on July 17, 1942, in Pictou, she was a daughter of the late Robert Meagher and Mary Christina (MacKenzie) Grant. She was predeceased by her husband, Ariel Owen Reid; sisters, Barbara (Tanner), Susan (Buckmaster) and brother, James ‘Bunga’. She is survived by daughter, Terri; sons, Craig (Shirley), Dana; nieces, Tracey, Danille, Nadine; nephews, Meagher, Kevin; grandsons, Michael, Sean and special granddaughter, Caliegh. There will be no service by request. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in Janet’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kidney Foundation.
