This will seem unusual, as I never knew your late June Cameron. I do wish to pass along our condolences on her passing.
The world works in mysterious ways..
On Sept 11/24, my wife Sara Cameron, brought us a healthy beautiful baby girl who we named (arbitrarily, we just loved the name), "Athena June".
A couple of days ago, I was google searching her name, just for fun. I found the obituary of your beloved June Athena.
It is extra interesting to me, as my late paternal grandfather, Gordon Robertson Cameron, was born in Pictou County NS, November 12, 1921.
My father's name is Robert (Bob) Brian Cameron. Fancy that hey . . !?
We live in Whitehorse, Yukon.
I have attached a photo of Athena June, taken at one week and as well, a photo of her with her Grampa "Bob" Cameron.
I am on Facebook as "Kyle Gordon Cameron" and / or my email is kgc.nomadair@gmail.com
Please feel no obligation to reach out to me. I just thought I'd share this pleasant little happenstance with you all.
Best wishes & condolences,
Kyle & Sara Cameron

June was an amazing women. She will be greatly missed by many. She would be greeted it in heaven by many that missed her Especially Bobby. I have many fond memories of walking down to the river to the house to see the horse Or just take a stroll. I always love meeting up with her so I could hear stories of the bears swimming in the pool. Seeing Fergie running through the field, like some crazy bear. She was a fantastic woman She always had a smile on her face for me a big hello and Always an invite to come down to the house anytime I wanted to. She was a treasure

Whenever I went to the Grace to have my children I always met up with June. Was so good to get caught up on all the news of her family and of course Westville. June was an excellent nurse and always had a smile..even when surrounded by bawling babies. Sorry for your loss.

Lynn, my heart breaks for you and the family. Your Mom was sweet and kind. I remember her telling me, relax and have fun when your bowling as nobody cares about your score! Every once in a while she would ask, are you having fun today? I am blessed to have met her and pray that your memories of her bring you peace and many smiles!

A wonderful friend. I so enjoyed June’s company. She always loved to chat, whether at church or Sobeys. She was a great worker in the kitchen and was fun to be with. Loved her family and so proud of each one. We often chatted about our fishermen. May she rest in peace.

Dear Cameron Family, I remember June and Bob coming to our Farm in Toney River when I was about 10 years old. Bob and June were dating and when June stepped out of the car in a beautiful yellow dress I thought she looked like a real live princess. June will always be my princess. My Aunt Mary was married to Bob's brother George. June will be remembered for her smile and kindness. Sincere Sympathy to all her Family.

To June's family - I am so sorry to read of your Mom's passing . I worked with her at the old Grace and what a pleasure she was to work with . She was always smiling and making us laugh while we went about our work . When our firstborn was delivered and my husband went to the Nursery to have another view of our pride and joy . Your Mom was the person who asked which baby he wanted to see . In typical June fashion she brought a baby that definitely wasn't ours to the window - It took Tom a second to realize he was being hadby this Nurse . I can still see his smiles as he told me about meeting your Mom . She was a true gem and I have never forgotten working with her . Hold your memories close - You are in my thoughts and prayers .

As a young person growing up I remember her husband Bob. He was good enough to take a young kid along when he went fishing in the Black River. In the few times I met June I found she was a really up beat lady. As her obituary says she had a genuine sense of humor!
