Obituary of Anne Evans

Anne Evans, of Pictou, passed away at home on May 14th, 2018 in her 92nd year.  Born in Foote’s Cove, Buren, Newfoundland, the youngest of 13, she was a daughter of the late Richard & Ellen (Mayo) Foote, and the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Anne was a wonderful Mom, who worked hard bringing up her family.  She was a great cook, who could always find a plate for anyone that stopped in.  She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred and grandson, Timmy in 1986; and is survived by her children, June, Pictou; Joy, Truro; Gary (Vera), Dartmouth; and John, Bradford, Ontario; her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be held from 12 – 2 Sunday, with Funeral to follow at 2:00 PM in the McLaren Funeral Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating.  Burial will be in the Seaview Cemetery.  Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
