Oh my, Marilyn, I will miss him almost as much as you. He was " my brother from another mother". My "go-to guy. I loved him as the friend he was. We had many laughs over the years ...and a few tears ! That's life . So sorry for your loss. Love you

I was sorry to learn of Ned's passing. I will always cherish the memories I have of spending summer vacations with my cousin, Ned, at their family's cottage on Cape John while we were growing up. Ned's Mom and Dad were very generous in sharing their cottage with our family every summer. We all had a good time. There was lots to do for young boys: warm water, row boats, fishing trips, evening camp fires and adventures into the woods and along the shoreline. The hot dogs, koolaid and ice-cream on the beach were pretty good too. I am very grateful for the wonderful memories given to me from spending great times with my cousin, Ned!

Condolences to the family on Ned's passing. He put up quite a battle. When Ned got his transplant my husband was able to come to Pictou for his dialysis and able to enjoy his next 3.5 years better than if he had still been going to Antigonish. Kevin always referred to his chair as Ned's chair. Hugs to all of you.

We are so sad to know we have lost Ned! So many great memories with john and angela and grandchildren and his most wonderful wife Marilyn. Ned will be missed by everyone who knew him and our deepest sympathy goes to the family and so thankful that we have had such a close relationship with Ned and Marilyn.
