I was a student at Westville High. Although I did not like school I sure loved her Home Economics classes. Zena was always kind and had a great sense of humour.

We had some great conversations on the telephone with our bi-weekly calls. She loved her family so much and appreciated every thing you did for her. I had Zena MacLeod as my Hone Ec teacher at Westville High School. I was not much of a student in other classes but loved hers. Mrs. MacLeod was always very kind and compassionate and her accent was intriguing.

I remember when Zena had family over from Scotland, she would take them around the Heathbell community and introduce them to all the neighbours.
Zena was not only a wonderful neighbour, she was my home economics teacher and I like everyone else loved her as a teacher, neighbour and friend. She certainly was a very special person.
