Barb, I was both shocked and saddened to learn of Wendy's passing. I remember the first time Wendy and I spoke, she presented herself with such warmth and friendliness I felt as if I had known her for years. Such a gift to have! Condolences to you Barb and family. Huge Hugs to all.

To Michael William and Family,
Bruce, Lynne, Keith and Christopher were saddened to learn of Wendy's passing. Although limited in our ability to visit with Wendy over the past few years there were many phone calls and pictures exchanged. We all have many fond memories of our shared time in Virginia where Wendy was a valued friend, asset and leader in the Canadian community. We will miss her!

To Barb and all the Sharp family;
It was a rare occasion when I would see Wendy,( not often enough) It was usually when she & I happened to be in Pictou at the same time.she was visiting . It would be in a large social setting on the Pictou Waterfront. A blond would approach me and ask " Are you Dougie Watters? I am Barb's younger sister Wendy" . I always confirmed the identity and she immediately gave me a big hug. We continued with a chat and a few giggles.. I am sure that such a pleasant person as Wendy will easily transition to a higher place. Perhaps this thought may ease some of your current grief. Take Care all

Wendy was in my life and my kids lives since she was 10 years old, took my daughter for walks when she was a baby and became a second mother to my son and a second daughter to me. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, sympathy to Michael Wm and family, she was such a beautiful person inside and out. RIP sweetheart

We were so sorry to hear of Wendy’s passing . She was a dear friend , all through school and even years later as she visited often when we lived in Pictou and New Glasgow . We were discussing our grandchildren last time we spoke ! Our deepest condolences to her family . She was a classy lady .

Wendy was a very dear friend. We met when both our families lived in England and continued our friendship on our return to Canada. She had the ability to make everyone feel special.

Barb and family, I was shocked to read that Wendy has passed away. My two roommates from Kent Street are now gone ( Joyce passed away last month). I often reminisce about all the fun we had back then in our twenties. Although I haven’t seen Wendy for many years, we did keep in touch occasionally through Facebook. When we did speak, it was clear her world revolved around her beloved son Michael and his family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Barb , Michael and family
So very sorry to see of Wendy’s passing . She dearly loved her little BC family and was especially proud of those grand babies.
And Barb she really looked up and admired you through thick and thin.
We’ve known each other for over 50 yrs and I stood in her wedding She actually babysat my son too..When she came home to NS from wherever she was living we just picked up from where we left off and enjoyed a good ‘ gabfest”
It would have been wonderful to see her this summer but God had other plans with her declining health that made that impossible

My heart is broken… Wendy entered my life the day I was born, and became an anchor for me for 60 years. No matter where life took us, whenever we re-connected we picked up right where we left off, like we had only seen each other yesterday. Michael Wm, I hope you know how incredibly proud she was of you, and how utterly delighted she was with the family you gave her. When she spoke of her grand-babies, the love she felt was so apparent. Barb, Wendy adored you, and I remember staying at the apartment you two shared in Clayton Park. I don’t know if you knew, but she used to refer to you as ‘the cool sister’. Our lives have taken such dramatic twists and turns over the years, but here we are, brought together in thoughts over the love of a great lady. May we all find solace in her memories, for there are so many. Take care…
