Obituary of Damien Victor Duplessis

DUPLESSIS, Damien V. Pictou Damien Victor Duplessis passed away on November 5, 2023 at home in Pictou, at age 42, after a short unexpected battle with cancer. He was born on February 18th, 1981 to John ‘Manny’ Clough and the late Noella Duplessis. Damien leaves behind the love of his life of 16 years and best friend, Angela Rundle. Together they had a wonderful life and raised two children who were the light of his life, Jordan (Scotlynd) and Faith (Joseph); as well as his special pets, Ecko and Trixi. Damien leaves behind his father, Manny, to whom he was a devoted caregiver. He also leaves behind his siblings, Mandy Duplessis, Bouctouche, NB; Dorian Clough, Ontario, and special niece, Kiesha; as well as his parents-in-law, Charlie and Rose Rundle; and brother- in-law, Padre Mike Rundle. Damien was a talented artist and excelled in tattooing. He had a great passion for wrestling and basketball, especially the Toronto Raptors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family will receive visitors from 1-2 PM on Thursday November 9th in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, followed by the Funeral at 2PM conducted by his brother-in-law, Padre Mike Rundle via zoom. Donations in Damien’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
