Stanley Myles Chaisson 74, of Central Caribou, died peacefully at the Palliative care unit at the Aberdeen hospital on October 19th, 2023. He was born in Neil’s Harbor in 1949 to Zephron and Teresa Chaisson, the first of 9 children. Stanley will always be remembered for his heart of gold, his kind nature, and the way that he always knew just what to say when asked for advice. You couldn’t have asked for a better Husband, Father, Step-Father and friend. His smile and words of wisdom will be missed every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra Chaisson (Smith) and second wife, Diane Chaisson (Davey) as well as his grandson, Connor MacDonald; step-son, Robert Davey; sister, Linda Mitchell; brother, David Chaisson and is survived by son, Stanley Chaisson; daughters, Jacqueline Chaisson, Tanya MacDonald; step-sons, Craig Davey, James Davey and step-daughter, Karren Worden. Cremation has taken place and a wake will take place on October 27th, 2023 at McLaren Funeral Home in Pictou from 5pm to 7pm. Donations to the palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital or IWK in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated. His funeral will commence at 12pm on October 28th, at the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church in Pictou followed by burial at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens in Sylvester.
