Obituary of Timothy Brown

BROWN, Timothy Alberta Timothy William Wesley “Tim” Brown - It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Tim on August 3rd, 2023, in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 53. Growing up in River John, NS, Tim was surrounded by nature and all its beauty, he enjoyed being outdoors going for walks, fishing, and could often be found jumping off the River John Bridge to cool off on a hot summer day. Tim enjoyed going for drives down the backroads while listening to his favourite country music. Growing up Tim had a great love for animals and whenever he found one in need you can bet he was taking it back home to care for it. Despite his struggles Tim had a huge heart which carried over to the beautiful poems he wrote throughout his lifetime. Over the years Tim has held several jobs including Seagull Pewter in Pugwash, NS, Gammco Lumber in Scotsburn, NS, Ives Foundation in River John, NS, and Dedford Contracting Inc. in Edmonton, AB. Tim’s proudest accomplishment in life was being a father to his son Dylan whom he loved more than anything. Tim is survived by his beloved son, Dylan Brown (Abigail), Masstown, NS; sister, Cindy MacGregor (Gowan), River John, NS; nieces, Alyssa Chisholm (Nathan), Little Harbour, NS; Brittany Boss (Matthew), Halifax, NS; Casey MacGregor (Andrew), Tatamagouche, NS, and many aunts and uncles. Tim will be met at the gates of heaven by father, Rodney Brown, mother, Katherine Brown (Ives); brothers, Harold Ives and Richard Brown, and grandparents, Irving Ives, Lorraine Ives (Langille), Earl Brown, Marie Brown (Langille). A private graveside service will be held to lay Tim to rest at the Mountain Road Cemetery, River John.
