Obituary of Margaret Emily Watters

WATTERS, Margaret Emily ‘Nogg’-80, of Scotsburn, passed away May 4, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.  Born in Kemptown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth & Alice (Irving) Poole.  A longtime resident of Scotsburn, she worked at various jobs over the years from telephone operator, to Michelin Tire.  She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Jim) Fisher, New Glasgow; sons, Kendall (Nancy), Pennsylvania; Robert (Marina), Scotsburn; grandchildren, Johanna (Shawn) Cromwell, Emily (Matt) Magee, Keith Watters, Kyla Watters, Tyler Watters, Callum & Cameron Watters; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Danielle, and Paige; brothers, Bud, Alberta and Jim, Scotsburn; sisters, Kenda, Truro, and Anna, Three Brooks; adopted daughter, Frey Gibbons.  She was predeceased by her husband, Harmon; son, John Thomas; brother, Irving; sisters, Joyce and Betty.  There will be no visitation or flowers by request.  Funeral will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday from the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Jim Webber-Cook officiating.  Private interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.  Donations in her memory may be made to the IWK Health Care Foundation.  www.mclarenfuneral.ca
