Obituary of Charlotte Ann Baxter

BAXTER, Charlotte A. Lyons Brook BAXTER, Charlotte Ann -78, of Lyons Brook, passed away August 10, 2023 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Pictou, she was a daughter of the late Edward ‘Ned’ & Phyllis (Bonvie) Cyr. She worked at Shiretown Nursing Home for nearly 40 years, and was a member of the Stella Maris Parish, Pictou, and also it’s Catholic Women’s League. She enjoyed quilting, and loved gathering at Tim Horton’s with her coffee buddies. Charlotte and Bill spent many winters in Florida. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Beverly (Hal) and Barbara (Rod); son, Bill Jr. (April); grandchildren, Alisha, Austin, and Cassidy; sister, Donna (Donnie); and brother, Paul (Donna). Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Norman & Bill. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Tuesday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Wednesday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
