BEZANSON, Alanta L.
Stellarton
Alanta Lorraine Bezanson, age 23 of Stellarton sadly passed away unexpectedly June 10, 2023. Born November 19, 1999 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow and raised in Hardwood Hill most of her life. Alanta was one of the beloved daughters of Tammy Bezanson and Bradley Carruthers. Alanta aka Miss Prim/Kiddo was so beautiful inside and out and would stand out in any crowd. Alanta graduated high school where she loved playing soccer, track and field and her favourite basketball, where she excelled and received many rewards. Alanta continued her education at NSCC and Saint Mary’s University. She was an exceptional hard working woman who adored and loved her residents at her current employment at Highland Community Residential Services. Alanta took great pride in all her hard work ethics and always went above and beyond her call of duties. Alanta and the love of her life, Nicholas enjoyed every minute together, whether it was going on weekend vacations, walks on the beach, strolls through Victoria Park, watching sunsets or sunrises. She was very adventurous and outgoing. She loved swimming, hiking, long drives, climbing trees, catching frogs, campfires, four wheeling and getting dirty. Alanta was very creative and enjoyed crafting, colouring, embroidering, baking, learning mom’s secret recipes and the list goes on. However she loved being a homebody with her immediate family, cracking jokes and acting foolish which came so naturally to her. Especially when she was with her nephews, Charlie and Timothy. The boys loved their Auntie A beyond words. Alanta ran to see them every time she got a chance, laughing, tormenting and always leaving them with big hugs, kisses and full of life. Alanta was loved unconditionally by her predeceased grandparents, Milton and Karen Bezanson. Alanta had a wonderful life alongside her partner, Nicholas Laffin; parents, Tammy Bezanson and Bradley Carruthers; siblings, Madison, Jalena, Conway (Taylor); nephews, Charlie and Timothy; aunts, Bev Bailey (Roy), Cynthia Skanes (Robin); cousins, Savanna and Sheridan; great-aunt and uncle, Myrtle and Jimmy Bezanson and last but not least her fur baby, Callie. A Celebration of Life will be held July 9th from 1-4 PM at Summer Street, New Glasgow.
Always remember the Bezanson prayer: Here’s to the sun and Holy Ghost, whoever eats the fastest gets the most.
We will see your beauty in every sunset, until we meet again, Miss Prim
