While my parents occupied the MacKay family homestead to build what was their new house on land purchased from Mrs Trudy MacKay (directly across the street), I had the pleasure to have the Annie's friendship. We spent time talking about the latest book she was reading (a ravenous reader) and playing pool. I am sorry to say, time and life separated us but I remember her smile and laugh as one of the most beautiful features of her personality. Lovely person who I am glad to have known briefly on my travels on this earth. My condolences to all the family for their loss.
