Obituary of John Graham Merry

MERRY, John G. Pictou John Graham Merry of Pictou NS passed away on May 22, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer, with his daughter Patricia and step daughter Suzie by his side. As a boy Graham, the oldest of three, was raised in Springhill NS, spending time in Marshall and River John NS. He was a retired Army veteran with the Canadian Armed forces, which he was very proud of. This career took him on three tours of duty overseas as a peace keeper. Graham is predeceased by his wife, Betty Tillman; sister, Alice and brother, Denise. Survived by his daughters, Patricia Merry, Coleen Merry-Penner; Step daughter, Suzie Tillman and grandchildren, Fallon, Travis and Kendra. Cremation has taken place. Private family memorial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shiretown Nursing Home. Enable us in the face of death to believe that God's resurrection from death has brought immortality to life. Give us hope that in You all shall be made alive.
