A: Grandville and Mary were such a special couple. We met at Shriners and Shrinerettes and they were always so pleasant. Grandville was such a kind and caring man and we all enjoyed his company. Grandville will be missed by so many. Rest in peace my friend.

Granville and Mary were members of the Trinitarians community choir for several years. I have a small stuffed bear that is one of the four "stuffies" I have kept, from the many that have been in our family for decades. This bear was given to me by Granville and Mary, after their return from a trip to the USA. The bear is a National Cathedral chorister, from Washington DC. She is dressed in a purple cassock and white serplice, and I named her Mary. I too, a much younger version of me, was a cathedral chorister, in a similar outfit. I really so appreciated their thinking of the choir during their travels and bringing back that little bear for me. Granville will be missed by so many people. Clearly, he has left a legacy to inspire and encourage so many family members, colleagues, and friends. Rest in Peace and Love, Granville. Our sincere condolences to Mary and all who loved him.

It is with a very heavy heart that we say good bye to Granville. He was one of the finest men it has been our pleasure to have known. A spirit unmatched, a sense of humor like no one we have known, and a goodness and mercy that only a man of his generation could attain. He was knowledgeable, kind and inspirational. His stories were impactful, always left an impression.
"G" left this attitude to his wonderful family, who we can say it is our wonderful pleasure to have known these last twenty plus years. To them we say, our very deepest condolences for your loss.

First, my sincere condolences to Mary, Susan, Hugh and Allen.
I have known Granville for more than 3 decades through Masonry and in several other areas. He was unfailingly polite, humorous, respectful and engaging. He could converse knowledgeable on almost any topic. He was a joy to spend time with.
He was always caring and promoting the need to help ‘the little guy’.
He was a dear friend and I believe he already has his wings. RIP

The heavens have a new star with Granville's arrival and no doubt he'll be able to name all his counterparts. An avid astronomer, aviator, adventurer and all round amazing, kind, thoughtful, and gentle man, he was always such fun. He was a great Dad (as longtime friend of Susan and Hugh's I sometimes felt like another sibling) and a loyal friend to my father, frequently dropping in see him in Wolvfille to visit and share time together. These visits were treasured. Conversations were always sincere and jovial. Granville's smile, and twinkle in his eye, are forever etched on my heart and soul. Rest in Peace. Prayers to the family.... love always... Bobbi

I am sad to hear that Granville is gone - but he certainly will not be forgotten. I came to know him only in the last two or three years, and we only knew each other by phone - and yet, what an impression he made. Gentle and gentlemanly (a perfect description), humorous, curious about so many topics, fascinated by the history of his family and the history of his favorite places, among them Whitehead, NS, where he visited his grandparents and his extended family in his growing up years. Granville, I will miss you and I will miss sharing stories with you. You had some good ones! Your friend, Peggy Feltmate

It is with great sense of sadness when I learned of Granville’s passing. He truly was one of a kind. Granville and I first met when I joined Fred C. Morrison Ltd as a summer employee as a teenager when attending university. He took me under his wing and instilled in me a tremendous amount of knowledge, always with a smile and good humour. Of course, our families became neighbours when he and Fern built their cottage near ours in Toney River. It really was a family affair. And he enjoyed sharing his experiences and knowledge of airplanes. He related a story of one model he had built with a small powered engine. He jokingly admitted he had forgotten how much fuel he had put in it. He launched the free flight model and it sailed upward, out of sight, never to be seen again. Sending my most sincere condolences, warmest thoughts and prayers to all the Miller clan. Take care. Bob Morrison.

I have very fond memories of Granville, especially when I joined him at Fred C. Morrison Ltd. He took me under his wing and helped me understand the company and its clients. Gifted with and extraordinary sense of humor and a wry wit. It brings a smile to my face when I think of a trip he and I took to visit clients in the Valley and Granville with nary a smile explained that it was "peaing time" in the Valley. It was spring time and the middl of the green pea harvesting season. Granville lived a full life and was a delight to know. My condolences to his family and friends.

I spent my summers growing up as a neighbour to the Miller family. Granville was one of the finest gentlemen and Fern was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met . As a teenager I always enjoyed their hospitality at their cottage and how they, along with Hugh , Susan and Alan, made me feel like I was part of the family . I was so amazed how Granville had the patience and ingenuity to build those model planes and launch them into the ocean. He was such a good role model and positive influence to so many including myself . He will be greatly missed and always remembered . My deepest condolences . Ron MacQuarrie
