It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our mother Mary Ellen Dalton on January 25, 2023. Born in Pictou on May 11, 1941 she was a daughter of the late John and Alice (Bigney) Robinson. Surviving are her loving family, Debbie (Colin), Sonia (George), Gerry and Timmy (Shelly); five grandchildren, Colin, Chris, Megan, Amy, TJ; four great-grandchildren, Tristen, Jayde, Charley, Jackson; sister, Doris; sister-in-law, Cecilia and brother-in-law, James (Jean). She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward; sister, Ella; brothers, Tomas, Ronald, John and Cyril. Cremation has taken place. By request of Mary there will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society or a charity of your choice.
