Sincere condolences on Bill's passing. Got to know him back in the days of Stonehouse Cafe when he and Thelma would come in on Friday night. More recently had many chats and laughs with Bill at Sharon's Place. He was a wonderful man.

My sincere condolences to Bill's family.
Bill was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We would often talk at the end of our driveways, or I would pop over for a visit to see what was new. We never did get to have that drink together that we were always talking about.
I sure will miss seeing Bill across the street, and 'keeping an eye on him'. Rest easy Bill.

My memories of Uncle Bill goes back many years. He gave me a special souvenir . I still have it in my china cabinet. The other thing that stands out was his unique laugh and humor. In spite of illness he tried to be positive and live life to the fullest.
I wrote a poem that I pray will bring hope and help in the days ahead as they grieve and mourn their dad, brother and grandfather.
Grief shreds our heart
Raw emotions ebbs and flows
God promises His peace.
My prayers go out to you and Christine who will do the memorial service on Thursday.

I never spent enough time with Bill My family went to Nova Scotia to put my mothers ashes in the Johnson family cemetery Katherine Mable (Johnson ) Gauthier. That was my first visit to Nova Scotia.Spent a good week with Uncle Bill and Aunt Thelma Aunt Hayzel along with some cousins. We rented cabins on the land my Aunts and Uncles grew up on . What I took away from Uncle Bill in a short week is that his Family was everything to him and came first I would like to say he was a man’s man.Thelma was a queen to him and he filled his contract to her I remember being in Pictou watching the pipers and the town was alive the Hector rein acting faboulus l remember the tears coming down my face in the bleachers and my brother asked are you okay and I said to him why did I not come to Nova Scotia before this with mom I could have but always did my own thing She loved Bill and the history the visits cleaning the grave yard they would have picnic’s there and she would tell me always She loved his family and the same with Hayzels family I said Uncle Bill would have been a huge part in my life As that of my uncle Wilfred I will remember my uncle Bill every remembrance day Today my family would like to challenge any family out there we will match the first family that donates 500 dollars to the family cemetery which was close to Bill’s Heart ❤️
