ROBINSON, Allison J. Pictou ROBINSON, Allison Joseph – 89, of Pictou, passed away on September 21, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. During his lifetime Allison worked as a Boilermaker and Pipefitter. He was a member of Lodge #73 International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and also of Local 244 of the United Association of Pipefitters. He had a passion for camping, hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors. He was predeceased by his former wife, Eileen (Weeks) Robinson; and son, Jimmy Robinson. Allison is survived by his wife, Mericia Robinson; daughter, Margaret (Gerald); sons, Fred (Mary), Joey (Louise) and Gerry; many grandchildren and great grandchildren who he was very proud of. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. A public graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday in Seaview Cemetery, with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Following the service a reception will take place in the family home. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
