Obituary of Ann Charlene MacIsaac
It is with sadness that the family of Ann Charlene MacIsaac announce that she has had her last “Timmies and a Ticket”. Ann passed away at the Aberdeen Hospital with family by her side, on April 2, 2018. Born in Souris, Prince Edward Island on February 23, 1957, Ann was the fourth child of the late Herbert and Marguerite “Sister” (Cheverie) McIsaac. After leaving school in Pictou, Ann went on to work at the Caribou fish plant until it’s closing, moving on to Michelin working with the cleaners, and finally to Shiretown Nursing Home enjoying her work with the housekeeping department and the many friends she made there. Left to mourn her passing are siblings, Kevin (Ethel), Dorothy Poirier, Grace Ellis, Albin (Cathy), Debby (Charlie) Matheson, John, Janet Murray, all of Pictou; David (Denise) of Cole Harbour and Wayne (Kerri) of Miller Lake; several maternal aunts; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as her many cousins. Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by her best friend/partner, Bevan Cameron; brother-in-law, George Murray; and nephew Christian Poirier. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to be held. The family would like to thank Dr. MacDougall, Nurses of the 4th floor, and the Doctors and Nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital for their care of Ann during her illness.
