Obituary of Grace Verlie Hawboldt

HAWBOLDT, Grace V Scotsburn HAWBOLDT, Grace Verlie - age 87, passed away May 31, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her children by her side. Grace was born September 7, 1934 and was a daughter of the late John and Alexandria (Langille) Baillie. She is survived by children, Wendy Langille (Stanley), Heathbell, NS; Paul, Plainfield, NS; grandchildren, Kyle (Jay) and Christian; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Harper and Hunter; brother, Gary Morrison (Carol); sisters-in-law, Shirley, Pam and Phyllis; many nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Weldon; son, Alfred; brothers, Jack, Alden and Leonard; step-father, Harold Morrison; and niece, Heather Morrison. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral Service will be held 2PM Monday in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Scotsburn. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society, Pictou County VON or a charity of your choice.
