I have so many fond memories of growing up in the "valley" with the MacKenzie family as neighbours. Pidgie and Kay were always such a kind and caring couple and were highly respected by all of us youngsters who used to hang around their place. When "laying down the law" to us, Pidgie always did it with kind words and a little joke or saying that would make us laugh, but she would definitely manage to get her message across. Everyone, young and old, were always welcome in their home. My deepest condolences go out to Mike, Rick, Mary Anne, Scott, their families, and all of Pidgie's family and friends at this sad time. May you all find comfort in the wonderful memories you share of time spent together.
