Obituary of Anthony Martin MacLeod

MacLEOD, Anthony M. Caribou It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anthony ‘Tex’ Martin MacLeod on December 3, 2021. Born in Pictou on October 20, 1972 he was the eldest son of Sylvia (MacLeod) Stewart. He is survived by brothers, Aaron (Marsha), Scotsburn; Allison, Ontario; sister, April (Ryan), Plainfield; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was a volunteer fireman at the Scotsburn Fire Department and later at Caribou Fire Department until he went on to work road safety with Titan Traffic Control. He will be remembered for his kindness to all. As an organ donor he will live on. A graveside service will take place Friday at 11 AM in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. COVID-19 restrictions in effect. Masks and proof of full vaccination required. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony’s memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or a charity of choice.
