FORD, John Wendell passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2021. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of Wendell and the late Sandra (Jefferies) Ford. He was a pressman for most of his life working for Quebecor from 1985-2005 and the Pictou Advocate from 2005-2013 before leaving on disability. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mae (Killam); children, Devon (Jamie), Melissa (Al); grandsons, John, Nathaniel; sister, Pam and many nieces and nephews. Besides his mother he was predeceased by his brother in infancy, Christopher Raymond and brother-in-law, Bill Peacock. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 PM at McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
