Obituary of Isabel Jane Beck

BECK, Isabel J. Pictou BECK Isabel Jane - passed away peacefully December 8, 2020 in the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou. A daughter of the late George and Bertha Hemmings, Isabel was the last remaining member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by sisters, Amelia, Theresa, Jean; brothers, George and Harold; husband, Henry; son-in-law, Brian Skinner. She is survived by sons, Gary (Donna), Brian, Allan, Herbie, Howard (Florence); and daughters, Linda, Valerie (Jerry), Gail (Blaine); 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Isabel always enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards and Bingo at the nursing home, and especially loved listening to Green, Green Grass of Home. She will be missed by all. A private family service will be held in Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with a public graveside service to follow at 3PM on Tuesday, September 7th in the Stella Maris Parish Cemetery.
