BIGNEY, Ronald Nathan, age 73 of River John died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. He was a son of the late Nathan and Violet Bigney. He worked for Warren Maritime Construction for 30 years, and then Dexter Construction for nearly 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; daughters, Stacy (Roy), Angela (Robbie), Valerie (Cory); grandchildren, Candice, Andy, and Hannah; sister, Shirley (Keith); half-sisters, Mary Jane (Tom), Levona, Gail (Duane), Brenda (Walter), Jo-Ann (Brent), Sherri (Steven), Cynthia (Ken) and half-brother Leonard (Shelly); many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Ron was predeceased by his half sister, Darlene (Keith). Donations in Ron’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
