To the whole family
Words cannot describe the feelings when I heard about Brian. It was truly heartbreaking. Life and kids and distance got in the way of keeping in touch much in the last decade but I will always consider Brian one of my best friends. So many good memories over the years. He was one of the good guys. Hazel I will make a trip to see you in the near future.
Love Mike and Laura Peters and family

I was so saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I've not seen him in many years, but remember him fondly from our school days. Such a smart guy. Please know that you are both in my thoughts during this very difficult time of loss.

To All of Brian's family,
I've known Brian for over 20 years.I had the pleasure of cutting his hair. Oh the stories we shared and discussed.
From me teasing him for being a "poor fisherman " to him going back to school to take up kinesiology.
He, unbeknown to him made me feel special every time he made an appointment coming from Pictou to New Glasgow. Which was challenging for him at times from asking friends to costly taxi cabs . I'll never forget the fresh cooked lobsters taken out of the cabs trunk...everyone in the shop was jealous. In life we all have joys and regrets, and I know the greatest joy was his family !t saddens me so much to be sending this condolence and losing an incredible infectious smile, laugh, and eyes of an unforgettable man.Hoping you are finally at peace and your family and friends will feel comfort with all your amazing memories,my left handed fisherman.
With heart felt sympathy

We remember Brian well from our days in Pictou. I loaned Brian some of my Pharmacy textbooks when he made the decision to study Pharmacy. He later retuned them when he decided to pursue other things.
Our sincere sympathy to his mother Hazel, to his wife and children and to his sister Brenda and her family.
Your old neighbours on High Street,
Rev. Curtis McDonald, Bev and family.

Hazel, Brenda and families:
I am so sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember Brian as the handsome older guy in church when I was young. He was so involved in the church and such a role model for us younger kids. I am sure that he is at peace now. I only hope that you find yours as well.
Love and prayers, Kelly MacInnis
