Dear Shelley ,
I am very sad to learn of Alan's passing. He was a great advocate for our community and our people.
When he lived in Pictou you could count on his presence at almost every Town Council Meeting!
The last time I met him was at a Lobster Carnival when he was voicing his thoughts about the issue of amalgamation and you were beside him, enjoying the comments, and trying to get him to keep moving. What a great team! Your years of travelling together were special ones.
He was very proud of the accomplishments of his sons, Ryan and Chad.
Alan will be missed and remembered always.
