TURPLE, Carrie Mildred (Barkhouse) - age 82, of Pleasant Valley and formerly of Pictou passed away February 24, 2020 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Carrie was born July 9, 1937 in Upper Burlington, NS and was predeceased by her husband, Robert Sutherland Turple; parents, Clyde and Beatrice (Walker) Barkhouse and brother, Donald. Carrie is survived by her children, grandchildren and extended family. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A private family service to be held at a later date. Thank you to the medical staff at the Aberdeen Hospital and to Dr. Brad McDougall. Also, a special thank you to Norma Jean Maguire - a caring, long time close family friend.
