To Families of Lexie Watters and Fergus,
We wish to express sincere condolences to you on the passing of Lexie. It is with sadness when I, Bob, read the passing of Lrxie. This also brought fond memories to me when we attended Cross Roads Roger Hill one room school. I, Bob, born on the farm of Jack (John R) and Martha Murray, Scotsburn. I was in Grade 1 at Cross Roads Roger Hill School in 1940 while Lexie was in Grade V1. I obtained this information in a booklet about this school written by Don Gunn in 1970. Charles Fergus in Grade 2, Leonard Grade 2, Roberta Grade 7, Arthur Grade 9. Our teacher in 1940 was Christena MacCulloch
With God's Blessings.

Greetings:
June and I send condolences to family members as you prepare to celebrate and give thanks for the life of Lexie. We know Lexie through Charlie (married to sister, Marg) The one you remember was known for her warm and friendly heart, sense of humour and giving personality. May you each know with deep meaning the truth of the words found in the creed "In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. Thanks be to God!".
With blessings,

Dear Joyce and Susan and family:
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dearest mother, Lexie.
My mother Margaret MacDonald and father Henry were members with her at the Pictou Community New Horizons Club, and became very close friends. Lexis took over as club treasurer when my Mom passed the torch.
They shared a love for the seniors' club and together did their part to ensure its survival and growth.
Their closeness continued after Mom moved to Truro, enhanced by both visits and telephone calls.
My nephew Sam, a big Lexie fan, and my brother Bob and his wife Jenny join me in sending sincere condolences. Lexie was truly one of a kind. My family will truly miss her.
Sincerely yours,
Don MacDonald, Halifax.
