Chad and family,
I have no words. Bonnie was far too young and too kind a human being to be taken from you. My mom thought the world of her and after I met her, I could see why. She was a very, very sweet and compassionate person. I know she will be missed by you all. You will be in our thoughts.

I have known Bonnie since she was a little girl when she lived beside my Mom. She used to walk to Mom's to 'help', I think she was four or five, she would say 'my hands are only little but I can still help with your housework' . Bless her. My son was her ring bearer when she got married. She was truly a people person. I can not imagine how her family must feel, I am truly thinking of you all.

Bonnie was the sweetest woman, with a heart of gold and the most soft, kind voice that would instantly make you feel at ease being in her presence. The type of person who makes an impact on your life, and whose spirit will never be forgotten. I was very lucky to work along side her at the VON where I know she was making the difference she was striving for.

Bonnie was truly one of the kindest and gentlest souls I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Her gentle nature just oozed from her. You couldn't help but like her. The way she took care of people was truly amazing. She was a great mother and loved her boys. Her passing is a great loss to all who knew her.

I was honoured to have had Bonnie as one of my VON Managers. She was by far the most down to earth, kind, compassionate, and fair managers that I have had in my 20+ years of nursing. I will miss how her eyes and face lit up when she smiled. I will miss the side conversations we had as she sought to understand how home care nursing worked in the field. My life was touched by her presence and her footprints are ones I hope to be able to follow in one day. It was a privilege to know her. Rest In Peace Beautiful Soul.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. Such a shock and loss for all. I worked with Bonnie at 811 and when I was living in New Glasgow was able to have many of our 811 Pictou County Nurses lunch or coffee dates with her. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
