Obituary of Joyce Marie Bond

 BOND, Joyce Marie

Truro

Age 67, formerly of Brule, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 25, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.  Joyce was raised in Seafoam, Nova Scotia where she enjoyed being close to the water.  She is survived by husband, Henry Bond; son, Charles, his wife Grace and grandson Matthew, who live in Alberta.  She is also survived by brother, Ronnie Donovan and his wife Joyce of Three Brooks; and sister, Ann Rotchford and her husband Steve of Avondale, as well as nephew, Bradley Rotchford and family; nieces, Robyn Rotchford, Amanda Donovan and family, Melanie Battist and family, Tanya Donovan and family; and GREAT LONG TIME FRIEND, Donald Reid and his family.  Over the course of her life, she worked at Tatamagouche Center, the Children’s Home in Truro and her last years of working were at the Women’s Federal Prison in Truro.  Visitation will be held at Christian Fellowship Church located at 489 Abercombie Road in New Glasgow, on Friday November 30th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with serivce to follow at 11 AM. A reception will follow in the church hall after the service.  Burial will be in the Mountain Road Cemetery, River John.  Flowers gratefully accepted.
