Obituary of Donna Rose Bowes

BOWES, Donna Rose (RN) - 75, of Pictou, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 22, 2018.  Born in Halifax, Donna was the daughter of the late Rose (Walker) and Harold Teed.  She graduated from the Nova Scotia Hospital Nursing Program and went on to find her calling as a nurse caring for the residents of various long term care facilities across Nova Scotia.  Donna is survived by her daughters, Lori (Paul) Day, Hammonds Plains; Tracey (Troy) Foote, Lockeport; her adored grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Day and Jacob Foote; brother, Roland (Brenda) Teed; sister, Margie (Dave) McClelland; nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.  She was predeceased her beloved husband, Sandy.  There will be no visitation at Donna’s request.  Funeral Service will be held 1PM Wednesday, November 28th in the Pictou United Church with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating.  A reception will follow in the church hall, with a private family burial in Seaview cemetery.  Family flowers only.
