Fluff was a dedicated public servant and a lot of fun. I remember meeting her as part of the John Hamm government in 1999. She was always fun to work with. I always called her my great aunt "Fluff", even though we were not sure of the actual family relationship.

To the Baillie families:
I have had the privilege of knowing Fluff for 20 years. Our relationship began in 1999 when we were colleagues in the legislature where she provided extremely strong and passionate representation for the people of Pictou West. It continued after she retired from politics and it was always a special occasion for me when we would meet and catch up regardless if it was at a formal gathering or simply a chance encounter. She will be truly missed by those who knew her.
Mary Jean my wife, shared many of my times with Fluff in the non political days and she joins me in sending sincere sympathy to all.

You all know this but it needs to be said, your Mom was a VERY special lady. She welcomed us in to her home for visits and meals as if we were her own and each time we felt we were family. We had many laughs and a New Year’s Eve celebration we will never forget! She loved a certain little red convertible and she would be ready to hit the road, if given the opportunity! Your family will miss her terribly but don’t think of her as gone. She conveyed such a presence she will be part of all our hearts and memories forever.
